The Riverside Inn at Aymestery
The Riverside at Aymestrey has accommodated guests since 1600 – at that time mainly sheep drovers stopping at the River ford (there wasn’t a bridge in 1600).
They’ve had electricity, WiFi, flat-screen televisions and minibars – and a bridge – put in since then and the recently-refurbished rooms are all individually furnished, some with 400 year old beams embedded in the walls.
You can find information on each of the room types on their website, however all feature feather and down duvets with crisp white linen, and you’ll find a flat screen TV, free wi-fi connection, freshly ground coffee and tea-making facilities plus homemade biscuits in your room for you to enjoy.
All rooms also have en-suite facilities with complimentary Noble Isle toiletries, fluffy towels and waffle bathrobes.
